WiFi Dongle Interfaced with Raspberry Pi

Connect the WiFi dongle to one of the USB port as shown in the figure. Click the Menu button and select the Preferences– WiFi Configuration

A new GUI will appear for the Wifi interface as shown in the figure below.

Click the scan button and it will open a new window which shows the available WiFi networks.Select one of the preferred network by a double click which opens a new window, shows the settings parameters.Enter the password for the preferred network in the PSK tab as shown above and click on the Add button. After this we can see the details in the main window.Press the Connect button and see whether it get a proper IP address. Finally open the browser and check the connection.
